Good morning all,
 The visits to Gibsonton, Pinecrest, Lee, and Burney Elementary schools went well yesterday, I have so much fun with the kids...it is amazing, as many times as I do this, it is always so much fun because I feed from the kids.....and who could ever get tired of seeing shuttle launches, thinking of being on the space station, or going to Mars.... :) :) I'm having just as much fun as the kids...since I've visited so many new schools, this is the link for checking out when the ISS can be seen from your home.... http://spotthestation.nasa.gov/ wishing you a great day and weekend....we have to remember to always do our best, enjoy everything we do, live in the present, smile & have fun! Gabe

Rover Drill Pulls First Taste From Mars Mountain
 <http://www.nasa.gov/jpl/msl/nasa-rover-drill-pulls-first-taste-from-mars-mountain/index.html>
NASA's Curiosity Mars rover has collected its first taste of the layered mountain whose scientific allure drew the mission to choose this part of Mars as a landing site. Late Wednesday, Sept. 24, the rover's hammering drill chewed about 2.6 inches (6.7 cm) deep into a basal-layer outcrop on Mount Sharp and collected a powdered-rock sample. Data and images received early Thursday at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory confirmed success of this operation.

CME Week: How NASA Watches CMEs
 <http://www.nasa.gov/content/goddard/how-nasa-watches-cmes/index.html>
The study of space weather - including coronal mass ejections (CMEs) - is a much younger science than the study of Earth's weather, with far fewer observatories available. However, resources have grown dramatically in the last decade: NASA currently flies 18 missions to study the sun's effects at Earth and on the entire solar system, a field known as heliophysics, and launches numerous short-flight rockets for observations of solar impacts
