Good morning all,
 I hope you had a wonderful Halloween today and I am sure many of you went to big parties over the weekend…so many of the schools sent me pictures of the kids and teachers, then of course FB was filled with such amazing costumes….I think this is such fun day, especially in the schools as it gives kids and teachers a chance to really have some fun and share a common objective…the astronauts arrived safely back to earth…it is always thrilling when they are back safely…..it always looks so easy but actually it is very critical they get through the atmosphere without problems as well as the landing…I did a presentation to a group of pilots on Saturday….it went very well, a little different for me as I am usually in schools but I believe they had as much fun as me…on Thursday I will be presenting to middle school & high school students of the Technical Students Association…I know it will be fun, a little challenging too as it will be with one group with quiet an age range….also still sorting out events for the Great American Teach In and trying to get ready for the trip to Norway….never adult moment….we have to remember to always do our best, enjoy everything we do, live in the present, be appreciative of the good in our lives, let those we care about most know...smile & have fun! Expedition 49 Crew Safely Back on Earth

NASA astronaut Kate Rubins, left, Russian cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin of Roscosmos, center, and astronaut Takuya Onishi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) sit in chairs outside the Soyuz MS-01 spacecraft a few moments after they landed in a remote area near the town of Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016 (Kazakh time). Rubins, Ivanishin, and Onishi are returning after 115 days in space where they served as members of the Expedition 48 and 49 crews onboard the International Space  Station.
