Good morning all,
 I hope you had a wonderful week....I didn't realize the FCAT was alternate weeks of testing and that some of the school are still preparing. I think other states are also undergoing annual tests....it's hard to believe the school year will be winding down soon....It's always great to share with the things so many of you and the kids do as I know there really are wonderful kids and teachers to encourage them to chase their dreams as well as shape them for lives. I always remind people we all remember our favorite teacher as they impact us for life!!! {mine was the gym teacher :)} Please see the news on Judy's around the world flight...especially for any of the kids who may be interested in aviation as well as sharing in a wonderful adventure....wishing you a wonderful day and weekend ahead...one day at a time...we have to always remember to do our best, enjoy everything we do, live in the present, keep things in perspective, be appreciative of the good in our lives, smile & have fun....Gabe

On April 24, 1990, the Hubble Space Telescope was launched aboard Space Shuttle Discovery on the STS-31 mission. The mission featured the deployment of Hubble, the first of NASA's Great Observatories to reach orbit. STS-31 was the tenth launch of the shuttle Discovery. On board were astronauts Charles F. Bolden (pilot, now NASA Administrator), Steven A. Hawley (mission specialist), Loren J. Shriver (commander), Bruce McCandless (mission specialist) and Kathryn D. Sullivan (mission specialist, now NOAA Administrator). In this April 25, 1990 photograph taken with a handheld Hasselblad camera, most of the giant Hubble Space Telescope can be seen as it is suspended in space by Discovery's Remote Manipulator System (RMS) following the deployment of part of its solar panels and antennae. This was among the first photos NASA released on April 30 from the five-day STS-31 mission. > The Hubble Story Image Credit: NASA

ThinkGlobal Flight, An Around the World Flight Promoting Education, Announces Student Tours

23, April, 2014 U.S.A. ThinkGlobal Flight, an around the world flight promoting education, has officially launched on April 3 from Sun n Fun in Lakeland, FL in the Ascension Air donated Cirrus SR22T

Think Global Flight Ambassadors Astronaut Buzz Aldrin joined the crew on their first leg with Voyage pilot, Dick Rutan and Tuskegee Airman, Charles McGee at the send-off expressing their support. Immediately following the launch, Captain Judy and Buzz had a special invitation at the Global Aerospace Summit in Abu Dhabi speaking at the conference. Capt Judy visited many students and educators from the UAE.

Due to political circumstances in Russia, the crew has post-pone the international portion of the flight until fall. The national portion of the trip during the spring and summer months will keep students engaged during the delay.

Think Global reaches over 20,000 students in 25 countries and 31 U.S. States growing our future aerospace workforce. The project is acknowledged by the FAA and U.S. Department of Education for real world application to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (S.T.E.M.) as related to aviation.

The project currently has succeeded in generating $900,000 toward the flight with $100,000 remaining representing fuel, landing, overflight, and handling fees. All tax deductible donations go either directly toward education or the flight. All are volunteers, including the flight crew.

Top level sponsors include some of the following: Ascension Air, Air Journey, Jeppesen, Sennheiser, Cirrus Aircraft, AOPA, Continental Motors, and Signature Flight Support. In addition, Think Global Flight is one of 15 top finalist for the $10,000 Lightspeed Aviation Foundation grant. Asteroids Seen From Mars Surface by Curiosity
 <http://www.nasa.gov/jpl/msl/mars-20140424/index.html>
A new image from NASA's Curiosity Mars rover is the first ever from the surface of Mars to show an asteroid, and it shows two: Ceres and Vesta. These two -- the largest and third-largest bodies in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter -- are the destinations of NASA's Dawn mission. Dawn orbited Vesta in 2011 and 2012, and is on its way to begin orbiting Ceres next year. Ceres is a dwarf planet, as
